Nicholas A Venuso 89, of Sandwich, IL, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 24, 2025. He was born to Pasquale and Kate Venuso on June 10,1935, in Chicago, IL. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lydia Venuso of 52 years, his brothers, Michael and Pasquale, (Ruth, wife) Venuso.Survived by his wife Gerri Wagener, and his sister Felicia Carr (Vernon, late husband). His loving children, Nicholas ( May, wife ) Venuso ; Michael A (Vicky, wife) Venuso ; Anthony P. ( Ann, wife) Venuso. Dearest grandfather of six, Valerie (Jonathan, husband) Ikegami ; Dominic (Jen, wife) Venuso; Anthony M (Nicole, wife) Venuso; Mason (Emily, wife) Venuso; Joseph (Abigail, wife) Venuso and Sherelyn Venuso. Great-grandfather of 16 grandchildren.Nicholas served in the USAF from 1953 to 1961.After his military service he followed in his father’s footstep and began working for the MWRD as a Pollution Control O cer.
