PATRICK J. HICKEY Born: October 20, 1942 Died: March 23, 2025 Patrick J. Hickey, 82, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born October 20, 1942, in DeKalb, Illinois, the son of Francis and Mary (McCullen) Hickey. He is survived by his wife Ann; his children Patrick (Kari) Hickey and Heather (Greg) Kerfoot; his grandchildren Abby, Kate and Hanna Hickey, Connor and Cameron Summers, Daniel, Sara and Peter Kerfoot; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Richard (Leona) Hickey, John Hickey, Larry (Kay) Hickey and Josephine Hayward. Pat was a lifelong DeKalb-Sycamore resident. His career spanned over 40 years in the sheet metal industry. Pat and his wife, Ann, met when they were just teenagers. They were married for over 60 glorious years. Pat dedicated his life to his family in numerous ways, but notably, he made the time to go to his children's and grandchildren's sports activities
