Janice Romano, 73, of Somonauk, Illinois passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born June 18, 1951 in Elmhurst, Illinois, the daughter of John and Ardell (Wendt) Earle. Janice and John united in marriage in 2008. She loved collecting things of all sorts; she had an eye for antiques. She was a member of the Fox Valley Older Adults where she would always be ready to join the group for a trip anywhere. She enjoyed trips to New York, California, overseas and going on cruises, she loved seeing new places. Janice was a wonderful wife.
She is survived by her husband, John Mckirgan; two sons, Sean Romano and Brian Romano; one stepson, Chris McKirgan; five grandchildren, Katie, Sam, Steven, Kameryn and Andrew; one sister, Jenny; one brother-in-law, Tom Vernan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marsha and one brother.
