Barbara Haile Born: September 1, 1930 Died: March 6, 2025 Barbara Haile, 94, of DeKalb, passed away peacefully at Kishwaukee Hospital surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. Born as one of 14 children to Glen Ryan and Eva (Shewmaker) Ryan, Barbara grew up surrounded by family, a bond she carried throughout her life. Barbara married Earl Richard Haile on August,1952, at the First Baptist Church in DeKalb. Barbara dedicated her life to caring for others. Barbara was also an avid seamstress making countless clothes and Halloween costumes for her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Richard Haile Sr, and their son, Earl Richard Haile Jr, her father, mother and all thirteen siblings. She is survived by her son, Dennis Haile (Kathy Gill), grandchildren Skye Haile, Cody Haile, Christopher Haile, Shannon Haile Gifford (Benjamin), Kayleen Haile, and great-grandchildren Riley, Rowan, Sawyer Gifford, and close friend Toni
