Mark Pecilunas Born: June 17, 1959 Died: February 19, 2025 Mark Pecilunas, 65, sadly passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Peoria, Arizona. He was a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Mark was born on June 17, 1959, in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Leonard Pecilunas and Letitia DeForest Pecilunas. He graduated from Dekalb High School in 1977 and later attended Southern Illinois University. Mark married Cynthia (Cindy) Reimers on January 9, 1982, in Moline, Illinois. Together they had 4 children, Adam, Alex, Daniel, and Emily. Mark worked in the food and beverage services industry in Arizona, California, and Illinois for 35 years before retiring in 2020. Mark greatly enjoyed playing tennis and later became an avid runner, completing 2 marathons in Chicago and Minneapolis. He loved spending time with family. Nothing gave Mark more joy than watching his children and grandchildren compete in their various sporting and recreational activitie
