Fred James Sartore, 59, of Somonauk, IL, formerly of Melrose Park, IL, passed away on August 9, 2024, at Morris Hospital surrounded by loved ones after a sudden, brief illness and is at peace with the Lord.Fred was born Nov. 24, 1964, in Chicago, IL to Ralph and Margaret (LaBounty) Sartore.He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and fiancé. Through the hardships of his life, he found joy and laughter with his large, extended family and friends and in his love of music, both as a vocalist and a band member. He spent countless happy hours with his fiancée, Judy, during this past year including a final trip with family to his favorite fishing spot in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was a dedicated Tool and Die designer, perfecting his craft over many years. Every person who knew Fred became a lifelong friend.
